Personal contacts lead to decisions. The new Ineltec has everything it takes to prove this point: a host of decision-making visitors, highly-qualified suppliers, significant innovations, the latest products and technologies. In short: Ineltec is an outstanding platform for contacts, preliminary negotiations and purchasing decisions. And, last but not least, for you to check out the competition. Ineltec presents every aspect of industrial electronics, including all the steps that come just before or just after the actual electronics. Design and development: This area is the perfect platform for all those offering services and solutions for the development and design of electronic components. Components: Successful solutions would be impossible without innovative and efficient micro-controllers, memory chips, opto-electronic components, semi-conductors, displays and electromechanical components (to name but a few indispensable items). After all, a successful product is more than just the sum of its parts! That's why you should certainly present your products at Ineltec. Production technology and services: Streamlined, financially viable and efficient production technologies and methods are all-important. This explains why suppliers of innovative solutions in the outsourcing sector - for example for printed circuit board production, soldering, bonding or welding technologies or cable processing - have a key advantage. The same holds true for all suppliers of manufacturing, production and assembly services, since they have the know-how their customers need! Measuring and testing technology: The entire electronic production process - from design and development, through production and assembly - would be inconceivable without efficient measuring and testing technology. After all, every production step must be monitored and controlled if quality is to be maintained. This explains why measuring technology, testing apparatus, tests and quality assurance are integral parts of the production process - at Ineltec, too!
Several members and partners of the APTE Association are exhibitors at Ineltec 2001. For Information about Members and Partners of the APTE Association present at the Fair please contact z@apte.ch

March 27-30, 2001
    FORUM ENGELBERG 2001
The purpose of the FORUM ENGELBERG is to promote a fruitful exchange of views at an international level between representatives of science, technology, economics, philosophy, and eminent personalities from the cultural and political world, on crucial issues arising from modern research and scientific progress. Founded in 1989, FORUM ENGELBERG, staged its first conference, "Evaluation of a Great European Scientific Project (LEP/CERN, Genève)" in 1990. The subsequent topics were "The Genetic Revolution" (1991), "The Impact of Microtechology on Society" (1992), "Energy an Environment: A Question of Survival" (1993), "Chemistry and Quality of Life" (1994), and "Communication: Technology - Economy - Culture" (1995). The 7th conference sees FORUM ENGELBERG collaborating with the following bodies: European Commission, European Science and Technology Assembly (ESTA), European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT), European Science Foundation (ESF), Swiss-Asia Foundation (1996). The 8th conference (1997): Food and Water – a Question of Survival. The 9th conference (1998): The Future of MOBILITY & TRANSPORT in a Moving World. The 10th conference (1999): Safety of Technical Systems in view of Fundamental Changes. The 11th conference (2000): Neurosciences. The 12th conference (2001): Nanotechnology. The specific approach of FORUM ENGELBERG is to start from the premise that no single science is able to use its methodology to resolve on its own the fundamental problems associated with the survival of mankind, which is highly dependent on its natural environment. That is why the lecturers and participants invited to FORUM ENGELBERG are regarded as partners in a joint and multi-faceted endeavor. By awarding the FORUM ENGELBERG PRIZE, we intend to emphasize the importance of science management and to contribute to the furtherance of scientific knowledge. From a legal point of view, FORUM ENGELBERG is a non-profit-making organization under Article 60 of the Swiss Civil Code. It has international status but no political or religious bias, and does not depend on any other institution. Situated on the North-South axis of a European continent in quest of its identity, Engelberg was chosen as our annual conference center for its thousand-year-old historical heritage and its medieval Abbey surrounded by towering mountains with perpetual snow. Obwalden, in the heart of Europe, is one of the founding cantons of Switzerland, where the first steps were taken towards democracy in the Middle Ages. Thanks to the goodwill of the "Innerschweizer Regierungskonferenz"/ Governments of cantons Luzern, Uri, Schwyz, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Zug we can now welcome the participants of FORUM ENGELBERG to this very special site. 12th Conference: Nanotechnology ENGELBERG (Central Switzerland), Switzerland
