I. Announcement and Invitation

APTEROS are announced regularly in our biweekly newsletters APTEinfos. APTEinfos are addressed individually to the Members and Partners of the APTE Association.

If you are not a Member of the APTE Association yet and would like to receive invitations to APTEROS or organise own APTEROS, please register first as a member under http://apte.net/forms

The APTE Association proposes and provides the opportunity to hold APTEROS maximum twice a month, from 16h00 to 18h00 Swiss Local Time. However, the frequency may change depending upon the response of the Hosts. APTEROS will be held throughout the year with an exception of July and August due to the holiday season. Every December the APTE Association will hold special, non-thematic APTEROs with the major goal to provide the opportunity for the members to socialize in a more relaxed atmosphere.

II. Hosting and Organization

The APTE Association nominates a member or a partner of the association to hold the event. Please see the continuously updated schedule of APTEROs for up to two years in advance: http://apte.net/apteros/schedule

Hosts will receive an additional reminder two weeks before the event they are in charge of.

The APTERO Host will be responsible for:
     - providing detailed information about event and registration,
     - selecting participants and distributing the list of participants,
     - selecting the time and venue of the event,
     - providing catering services etc.

A typical agenda of an APTERO is as follows:

16h00 - 16h20: Arrival & registration, welcome apero (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), networking
16h20 - 17h00: Speeches by the host and its keynote speakers
17h00 - 17h30: Guided tour to the host's facilities, networking
17h30 - 18h00: Main apero (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), networking

III. Participation and Enrollment

The number of participants of APTEROs will be limited to 10-20 people.

After the announcement of APTERO in APTEinfo members and partners are welcome to contact the Host of the event for further information and registration. The Host will select the participant on the "fist come fist served" basis. However, the Host will retain the right to reject the number of applications on its own discretion. Particularly, the enrollment cut-off line will be made after up to 30 applications are received. Then the Host will then select up to 20 participants, giving priority to APTE Members. All applicants will be notified whether they have been selected for the actual event or not.
